Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies, through FCX Performance, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow relationships with current customers in a consultative environment. You will determine process flow control and instrumentation needs and provide solutions to drive satisfaction, retention and sales results.

The role requires proven customer retention, order processing, quoting, and delivering technical information while collaborating with the outside sales team and vendors to ensure

Qualifications

• Inside Sales experience in industrial marketplace preferred.
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Self-motivated and aggressive in sales tactics and closing deals.
• Technical/flow control instrumentation knowledge preferred.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office.
• Epicor P21 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Retain customers and build repeat sales.
• Process orders, price and delivery inquiries with customers.
• Provide technical and application information.
• Be strategic, organized, and tech-savvy in managing your sales territory.
• Process and expedite orders, returns, and vendor communications.
• Source quotes from vendors and support outside sales team.
