Layton Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in the planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects. May handle multiple projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

The role supports budgets, schedules, procurement, and coordination across the project team. Responsibilities include assisting with estimates, subcontracts, permits, and risk management while upholding Layton's standards and promoting training for project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Has a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and knows construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Champions Layton Way by delivering predictable outcomes for teams and customers.
• Ensures project profitability while meeting quality standards and owner expectations.
• Assists in preparation of estimates and project budgets.
• Prepares project management plans and milestones with the project superintendent.
• Participates in value engineering, permits, and subcontract negotiations.
• Monitors costs, schedules, safety, and quality; coordinates close out procedures.
