Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, management, and execution of commercial construction projects. You will coordinate schedules, budgets, and subcontractor work while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability.

You will collaborate with owners, architects, and field teams, assist in pre-construction planning, and drive value engineering while ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and permits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in ground-up commercial projects.
• Excellent communication skills and strong negotiation abilities.
• Understanding of construction laws and codes; reads blueprints.
• Upholds Layton ethics, conduct and policies.
• Strong problem solving; analyzes data to find solutions.
• Team-oriented; helps coworkers and customers to achieve goals.
• Ability to plan, allocate resources, and manage time effectively.
