Job summary

Doswell Operating Group, part of Woodfin Heating, Inc., is seeking a Construction Technician in Richmond, VA. You will perform diverse maintenance across multiple properties, including painting, drywall, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have experience in painting, drywall, carpentry, framing, electrical, and plumbing, and be comfortable working from heights.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting, drywall, carpentry, framing, electrical and/or plumbing.
• Able to perform tasks from elevated heights on a ladder, lift, or rooftop.
• Strong understanding of safe usage of hand and power tools.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general building and property maintenance, service, and repair services across multiple company properties.
• Maintenance tasks include painting, caulking, wall repair, minor plumbing, basic electrical work, framing, sheetrock, and pressure washing.
• Troubleshoot to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Learn from team members and take on evolving responsibilities as the department grows.
