White Cap is hiring immediately for a Counter Sales Associate in Syracuse, NY. You will greet walk-in customers, answer questions, process orders, quotes prices, and provide product information to support on-site sales.

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional customer service, familiarity with sales order software (Oracle preferred), and knowledge of construction products. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; join a team with excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service excellence in a retail or field sales setting.
• Experience with sales order software; Oracle preferred.
• Knowledge of construction or industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in and phone customers with orders and product information.
• Process orders, quotes, and enter orders into the system; pull items as needed.
• Upsell related products and communicate promotions.
• Provide accurate order status and troubleshoot customer questions.
