Job summary

White Cap in California is hiring a Counter Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers. You will process and quote orders, enter them into the system, pull orders, and communicate product features and warranties. Strong product knowledge and the ability to upsell are essential.

Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply. The role requires familiarity with Oracle or similar order software, plus knowledge of construction products.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for walk-in, phone, and will-call customers.
• Process orders, quote prices, and enter orders into the system; relay information to customers.
• Pulls orders as required and communicates product features and warranty information.
• Demonstrates product knowledge; offer technical advice and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Upsell by identifying related products and promotions to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
