Job summary

IAPMO is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for its Allentown, PA project portfolio. The role leads field teams and subcontractors, drives safety and quality, and ensures projects move from mobilization through closeout on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership, excellent communication, and proficiency with Procore to coordinate schedules and field operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience, including ground-up projects.
• Strong leadership to manage field teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to coordinate with PMs, owners and architects.
• Experience using Procore is required.

Construction Superintendent

Location: Allentown, PA

Commercial General Contractor | Full-Time

We Search People are working with a large, established and rapidly growing General Contractor looking to hire an experienced Construction Superintendent in Pennsylvania.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial projects and continued growth across multiple states. They are looking for a proven field leader who can take ownership of projects, lead teams and subcontractors, and successfully deliver high-quality commercial construction projects from the ground up.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with a strong background delivering ground-up projects for a General Contractor. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining project schedules, overseeing safety and quality, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from mobilization through to closeout.

You must have strong leadership experience and be confident managing field teams and subcontractors. A strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, scheduling, sequencing and project logistics is essential. Experience using Procore is also required.

You will work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects and subcontractors, so excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills are important.
