Job summary

Atlantic Group seeks a seasoned Superintendent with strong commercial construction experience to lead field operations on projects across the Northeast.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years as Superintendent or Foreman, can read blueprints and contracts, holds OSHA certification, and is willing to travel to PA/NJ sites. Direct Hire; projects include industrial, warehouse, retail and data centers, with a focus on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Superintendent/Foreman experience on commercial projects.
• BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred).
• OSHA Certification.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand contracts.
• Travel to project locations and manage field changes promptly.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on commercial construction projects.

Job description

We are currently working a GC client who has offices in Allentown, PA, Newtown, PA and Burlington, NJ who is looking for a Superintendent with experience in commercial projects.

• Direct Hire
• Projects: Industrial, Warehouse, Retail, Data Centers, Distibution Centers, and more.
• Project locations: PA, NJ (some travel)
• Ideal candidate experience: GC, sitework, owner's rep, construction management company.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Thorough knowledge and experience with commercial and industrial construction
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read and understand contracts
• Effectively manage field changes and resolve field issues in a timely manner
• Well organized
• Show initiative and motivation
• Works well with others, but can also tackle duties independently with confidence
• Proficiency in using logic to problem solve in situations where immediate guidance isn’t available
• Ability to be a leader
• Punctuality
• Familiarity with safety procedures and standards on a job site

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

• At least 5 years of Superintendent/Foreman experience on commercial projects
