WorkSteer is seeking a dependable Staffing Coordinator / Recruiter to join our construction staffing team. This role supports daily operations by recruiting, onboarding employees, coordinating job assignments, and maintaining clear communication between clients and field staff.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, solving problems, and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced office. Prior construction or staffing experience is helpful, but we will train the right person.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable answering phones and communicating with customers and employees.
• Professional attitude, dependability, and strong work ethic.
• Construction or staffing industry knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to learn staffing procedures, recruiting processes, and company systems.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients, employees, and job applicants.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates for available positions.
• Coordinate employee schedules, job assignments, and daily staffing needs.
• Communicate with clients and field employees to address scheduling needs and resolve issues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and onboarding paperwork.
• Assist with administrative duties and daily office operations.
• Help identify qualified candidates to meet client staffing requirements.
• Respond to changing staffing needs and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
