Job summary

A leading staffing firm is looking for a Staff Accountant in Philadelphia, PA. This full-time, in-office role involves managing general ledger entries, AIA billing, and project financials. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and up to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Acumatica ERP and Procore are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction accounting or AIA billing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Familiarity with construction industry accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end close.
• Manage invoices, payments, collections, and AIA billing.
• Track job costs and prepare WIP schedules for reporting.
