Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Safety Coordinator to safeguard workers across our jobsites in a hands-on, safety‑driven role. You will support safety programs, coach trades, and coordinate with field supervision to manage hazards and risk on active projects.

The role emphasizes implementing safety practices, adhering to SH&E standards, and contributing to Clark’s Culture of Care while advancing your OH&S education with Winter 2026/Spring 2027 graduation expectations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or related field with expected graduation Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training is preferred.
• Passion for the construction industry and safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Implement safe working practices and uphold Clark's values.
• Assist in administering Clark’s Safety, Health, and Environmental program.
• Enforce safety programs and federal/state/local safety standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching and education.
• Develop and implement project-specific safety programs.
• Identify hazards and provide input to mitigate risks.
• Conduct site walks and report safety performance and plans.
• Coordinate with field supervision on complex safety tasks.
• Coordinate third-party safety reviews, including OSHA Basic Qualifications.
