Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Safety Coordinator to certify safety, health, and environmental programs on job sites under the Regional Safety Director. You will lead orientation programs, conduct pro-active inspections, and document incidents in compliance with regulations.

The role requires up to 5 years in mechanical construction, strong communication, and ability to work across teams. Travel to job sites may be required; competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related area preferred.
• Up to 5 years of experience in mechanical construction preferred.
• Strong ability to establish professional relationships and communicate with all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site-specific safety orientation programs.
• Conduct safety trainings (fall protection, forklift, lockout, etc.).
• Perform safety surveillance inspections and collect reports.
• Document accidents, violations, and unsafe conditions with reports.
• Recommend best practices to Safety Director.
• Ensure PPE and safety supplies are available on site.
• Assist in safety inspections and follow-up tours.
