Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Safety Coordinator to uphold corporate safety programs across multiple job sites. You will work under the Regional Safety Director to ensure safety, health, and environmental policies are implemented and maintained.

You will lead site safety orientations, conduct essential trainings, perform inspections and investigations, and maintain accurate safety records. This role requires up to 5 years of construction safety experience and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management preferred.
• Up to 5 years of experience in mechanical construction industry preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.
• Proficiency with MS Word/Excel; project management software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site-specific safety orientation programs.
• Conduct safety trainings such as fall protection, man lift, forklift, and lockout/tagout.
• Perform pro-active work-area inspections, air sampling tests, and incident investigations.
• Document accidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions with proper reporting.
• Ensure PPE and safety supplies are stocked and available at sites.
• Assist in safety inspections and ensure compliance with corporate programs.
