Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Site Construction Manager to oversee multi-home builds from permitting through closing.

You will schedule subcontractors, supervise daily on-site activities, ensure safety standards, and maintain quality within budget while delivering homes on schedule. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales, warranty, and management teams, conducting homeowner walks, and managing inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and codes.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel among communities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure quality, on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors for each phase and verify workmanship meets plans and codes.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy and satisfy contract obligations.
• Inspect workmanship, halt noncompliant work, and approve payments after inspection.
• Manage customer experience throughout construction with regular progress communications.
• Monitor site cleanliness and safe, orderly work environments.
• Oversee post-close warranty process and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.
• Collaborate with sales, warranty, and management for proactive issue resolution.
