Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join our field team. You will apply safety procedures, read construction plans, and perform repairs on post-frame buildings across the region.

This role requires physical work, 30% travel, and the ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs. We offer a $21.00–$23.00/hour wage, quarterly bonuses, ESOP, life insurance, paid holidays and vacation, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction (post-frame) and carpentry preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in a training program.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings’ safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Repair and maintain buildings including doors, windows, roofing, siding, and footings.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely as part of a team.
• Travel up to 30% and work in varying weather conditions.
• Collaborate with crew to maintain a safe, productive work environment.
