Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. seeks a Construction Service Crew Member to join a field-oriented team repairing and maintaining buildings nationwide. Expect tasks from doors and roofing to siding, footings, and framing, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

You will read plans, operate tools, and adapt to weather and travel demands. Competitive hourly pay with progressive raises and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Building construction or carpentry experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
• 30% travel including possible overnight trips.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods and standards to every project.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Perform repairs including doors, roofing, siding, windows, footings and framing.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adapt to varying weather and physical conditions; maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with crew to organize materials and daily activities.
