Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is expanding its construction crews. Earn $21.00 to $23.00 per hour, with a $2,000 first-year bonus and an additional $500 quarterly bonus during the first year.

ESOP, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick time and more accompany a safety‑driven workplace. Under guidance of your crew foreman you will learn construction procedures, read plans, and build post-frame structures, often lifting up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction or framing preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training program.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; CDL highly desired.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn, keep current with and apply the Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Utilize tools and equipment to safely and efficiently construct buildings.
• Accurately perform tasks such as digging footings, framing walls/roofs, and installing windows/doors.
