Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join a field crew and contribute to quality repairs on customer buildings.

You will read and follow construction plans, perform repairs like door and window work, roofing, and siding, and operate tools safely in varying weather. This role supports a collaborative team and includes a structured pay progression with quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-frame construction or carpentry preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a training program.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capable of traveling up to 25% with overnight stays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings’ safety and construction procedures.
• Read and follow construction plans to perform repairs.
• Execute building repairs (doors, roofing, siding, footings, framing) and related maintenance.
• Operate hand tools safely and use specialized equipment as required.
• Adapt to varying schedules, weather, and heights up to 40 feet.
• Collaborate with crew to ensure quality workmanship and on-time completion.
• Plan materials for daily activities and assist with organization.
