Job summary

Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join the team. You will participate in repairs across multiple projects, reading construction plans and executing tasks from doors and windows to roofing and siding.

The role requires physical stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to collaborate with crew members to deliver quality buildings. Bonus opportunities include a $2,000 first-year bonus and $500 quarterly retention bonuses, with progressive pay during the first

Qualifications

• Building construction (post-frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in training programs.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Able to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to take direction and produce quality work.
• Commitment to safety procedures and device operation.
• Ability to operate construction tools and safety equipment.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally 100 pounds.
• Work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Position requires 30% travel, including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings’ safety and construction procedures.
• Read, understand, and construct according to plans.
• Repair and maintenance tasks including doors, roofing, siding, and framing.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adapt to varying weather and a flexible schedule.
• Work with crew to maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve on the job.
• Support material organization and plan daily activities.
