This role requires physical effort, 25% travel, lifting up to 100 pounds, and exposure to diverse weather. Competitive hourly pay from $22 to $24 with quarterly bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in building/construction, especially post-frame or carpentry, preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a training program.
• A valid driver’s license preferred.
• Available for 9–10 hour shifts during peak season.
• Able to take direction and produce quality work.
• Commitment to safety procedures and proper tool handling.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% with overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Morton Buildings’ safety and construction procedures on every project.
• Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
• Repair building components: doors, windows, siding, roofing, and related works.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adapt to varied weather, work at heights up to 40 feet, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with crew members to organize materials and plan daily activities.
