Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Construction Scheduling Intern to work with the scheduling team on active construction projects. You will learn how a project is planned from milestones to daily field activities and gain hands-on CPM scheduling experience using Ryan's processes and P6.

Interns who excel may become full-time hires. You will work on active jobsites and in offices, supporting proposals, schedules, and health reports while building skills in scheduling software and project

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in CM, CE, AE or related field with interest in scheduling.
• Willing to split time between office and active construction sites.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Ryan's scheduling standards, tools, and process (Fundamentals, the Ryan Process, and P6).
• Spend time on active jobsites, connecting the schedule to field activities.
• Support teams in creating, updating, and reviewing schedules across proposal and preconstruction.
• Assist with progress updates to keep schedules accurate and current.
• Help prepare monthly project schedule health reports and analyze data.
• Attend planning sessions to see sequencing, manpower, and durations develop against milestones.
• Observe peer review sessions to understand stress-testing of schedules.
• Capture and organize completed schedule data for Data Analytics.
