Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Construction Scheduling Intern to work with our scheduling team on real construction projects. You will learn milestones, sequencing, and the strategy from macro to micro level, gaining hands-on CPM scheduling experience and exposure to the tools and standards used daily on active jobsites.

Interns who excel become strong candidates for full-time roles, with mentorship from the scheduling team and exposure to leaders across operations and the field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in construction scheduling, planning, and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with an experienced scheduler to learn Ryan's scheduling standards and processes (Fundamentals, the Ryan Process, and P6).
• Spend time on active jobsites, connecting the schedule to field build activities.
• Assist project teams in creating, updating, and reviewing schedules during proposal and preconstruction stages.
• Help keep project schedules accurate with regular progress updates.
• Prepare monthly project schedule health reports and learn how scheduling data monitors performance.
• Observe peer review sessions on complex projects to understand stress-testing of schedules.
