Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Construction Scheduling Intern to work with our scheduling team and gain hands-on experience across active projects. You’ll learn how a project is planned from milestones to daily field activities and how CPM scheduling and P6 drive progress.

The internship blends office work with site exposure, offers mentorship from experienced schedulers, and provides real project data and reports to develop practical scheduling skills and a path toward a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in construction scheduling, planning, and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable splitting time between an office setting and active construction sites.
• Eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Ryan's scheduling standards, tools, and process (Fundamentals, the Ryan Process, and P6).
• Spend time on active jobsites, connecting the schedule to what's actually being built in the field.
• Support project teams in creating, updating, and reviewing schedules, including during the proposal and preconstruction stages.
• Help keep project schedules accurate and current by assisting with regular progress updates.
• Assist in preparing monthly project schedule health reports and learn how scheduling data is used to monitor project performance.
• Sit in on collaborative planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, and owners to see how sequencing, manpower, and durations are developed against project milestones.
• Observe 'peer review' sessions on complex and high‑profile projects to understand how schedules are stress‑tested.
• Help capture and organize completed project schedule data to support the Data Analytics team's continuous‑improvement efforts.
• Build a foundation in construction scheduling and stay curious about how the industry and its tools continue to evolve.
