Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. invites a Construction Scheduling Intern to learn hands-on scheduling across active construction projects. You will work with the scheduling team to understand milestones, sequencing, and field activities, and gain experience with CPM scheduling, scheduling software, and project controls.

The role offers exposure to real projects, mentorship from the scheduling team, and potential full-time opportunities. Office and field site time are expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Genuine interest in construction scheduling, planning, and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to split time between an office and active construction sites.
• Eager to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply scheduling standards, tools, and processes (Fundamentals, the Ryan Process, and P6).
• Spend time on active jobsites, connecting the schedule to field progress.
• Support project teams in creating, updating, and reviewing schedules.
• Assist in preparing monthly project schedule health reports.
• Observe peer review sessions to understand stress-testing of schedules.
