Job summary

Builder Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Sales Consultant to sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts. You will build trusted relationships, expand new accounts, and meet monthly sales targets while traveling locally and inspecting job sites for safety concerns.

The role emphasizes aggressive, motivated sales with commissions, covering extensive customer interactions from initial contact through project completion and ongoing follow‑ups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products or construction.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads, and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions, product innovations, competitors, prices, and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.
