Job summary

Builder Services Group, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Sales Consultant to drive revenue in residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospects, make daily sales calls, and present proposals with a focus on building trusted relationships and meeting targets.

The role requires 3+ years in construction sales, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). Base salary plus commissions and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license required if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and consistently generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at the inception of sale by inspecting job sites to identify any safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform any other duty, task, or responsibility as assigned.
