Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a results-driven BE sales professional in Austin, TX to promote HVAC and building automation solutions to contractors, designers, and engineers. You will manage long-term relationships, renew service agreements, and expand Johnson Controls offerings across BE-LOBs with strategic accounts.

You will lead or participate in account teams, employ sales tools to track progress, and continuously develop product and market knowledge to deliver customer value and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry.
• Demonstrates integrity, initiative, and strong interpersonal communications.

Responsibilities

• Sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively to contractors, designers, and engineers; manage multiple opportunities.
• Renew and expand renewable service agreements (multi-year where applicable) with assigned customers.
• Build and maintain partnerships with owner construction community to drive value-based solutions.
• Target and initiate contact with prospective customers; develop a network of industry contacts and advance opportunities.
• Present proposals and negotiate to close sales while leveraging sales tools to document progress.
