Job summary

Securus Safety Solutions LLC is seeking a dedicated Project Safety Assistant to support safety across active construction sites. You will report to the Regional HSE Consultant and collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and trades to promote regulatory compliance and a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive building construction safety experience required.
• Demonstrated continuing safety training over the claimed time period.
• Ability to show field experience in building construction safety, including safety discipline coverage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and non-compliance.
• Maintain and oversee site safety documentation (inspection records, logs, SDS, project safety files).
• Design and deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Lead or assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Coordinate emergency plans and liaise with local responders.
• Support site leadership with safety-related administrative tasks.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction safety

CSP / CHST certification
