Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health and Risk Management, developing and implementing site-specific safety plans and leading ORM processes. 20% travel is required.

Responsibilities include coordinating with GC/owners on safety, delivering S&H programs, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and related standards. Collaboration with project teams and strong safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 0+ years with a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience conducting S&H training and regulatory compliance (1910/1926, EM-385 1-1).
• Safety Management Systems knowledge, skill and experience.
• ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3100 familiarity.
• Understanding of culture and culture-building skills.
• Willingness to pursue ASP, CSP, CHST certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with GC/owner on site conditions, non‑compliance, and mitigations.
• Lead meetings to advise on site safety plans and training programs.
• Assist with development and implementation of Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs (APP).
• Manage site safety budgets, permits, and ensure contract compliance.
• Lead ORM team in reviewing safety plans and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other safety regulations.
