Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management across multiple sites.

The role develops and implements site-specific safety plans and collaborates with project management on ORM processes to deliver practical, compliant safety solutions. The position requires extensive S&H experience, regulatory knowledge (OSHA, DOT, EM-385), and a track record in training and program development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• 6+ years' experience with an Associate Degree.
• 8+ years' experience with a High School diploma.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Applicants subject to government security investigation and may need U.S. Citizenship for access to classified information; ability to obtain and maintain HSPD-12 clearance.
• Experience conducting safety & health training; regulatory compliance (1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1).
• Safety Management Systems knowledge; ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 3100.
• Willingness to pursue ASP/CSP/CHST.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with General Contractor (GC) and/or owner of site conditions and NCN.
• Participate in meetings with customers, project team members, and contractors to advise on mitigation plans, S&H training programs, and technical reports.
• Assist with development and implementation of Site Specific Accident Prevention Programs (APP) and training plans.
• Assist with site safety budgets, necessary safe work permits and ensure compliance with contract, plans, and specs.
• Lead the Operational Risk Management (ORM) team in developing a project safety plan, conduct investigations and reporting.
