M.C. Dean, a leader in building intelligence, seeks a Construction Safety Manager to oversee project safety and risk management across multiple sites.

You will develop site-specific safety plans and lead the Operational Risk Management process with project teams. Responsibilities include designing and delivering OSHA 10/30 and CPR/FA training, updating materials, and ensuring NEC/NFPA 70E/NESC compliance while mentoring safety staff and driving hazard mitigation for complex

Qualifications

• 13+ years of safety management experience, emphasis on training program development
• 7+ years with a Bachelor's in safety management (electrical exp. preferred)
• 5+ years with a Master's in safety management; S&H training and regulatory compliance expertise (1910, 1926, EM-385)
• Safety Management Systems knowledge: ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 31000
• Culture-building skills and safety leadership certifications pursued (ASP/CSP/CHST)
• Experience in electrical/industrial safety for federal and commercial projects

Responsibilities

• Create, develop and implement safety training plans and curricula
• Conduct new hire orientation (OSHA 10, 30 and CPR/FA)
• Redesign training materials and improve the employee experience
• Interpret electrical safety standards: NEC, NFPA 70E, NESC; oversee NFPA 70E program
• Monitor and measure effectiveness of training programs
• Mentor safety professionals and coordinate with teams on safety material updates
• Stay current with regulatory, operational, and technical safety matters
• Participate in meetings with customers and project teams on risk mitigation
