Job summary

The PAC Group is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve safety programs across active U.S. job sites.

You will ensure OSHA compliance, uphold company safety standards, and foster a strong safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and project leadership. Responsibilities include developing site safety plans, conducting inspections, leading investigations, and training teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience on active job sites.
• BS in Safety/Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Proficient in incident reporting systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site safety programs for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and state regulations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans (SSSPs) and JHAs.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and competency-based training.
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to integrate safety into execution.
• Manage subcontractor safety performance, pre-qualification, and compliance.
• Track and report leading and lagging indicators (TRIR, DART, near misses).
• Support emergency response planning and drills.
• Participate in client and regulatory safety meetings and inspections.
