Job summary

MidPoint Technology Group is seeking a highly experienced Safety Manager to lead and implement Safety Management Systems, risk control, audits, and training across our projects. You will advise project teams, develop Job Specific Safety Plans, and drive OSHA compliance on multiple sites in Sterling, VA.

The role requires five years of safety program implementation in construction environments, with credentials such as CHST/ASP/CSP, OSHA 500/501, and CPT certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience applying safety standards, regulations and procedures for a general contractor, subcontractor, or related firm.
• Experience with OSHA regulations, USACE EM385-1-1, and other federal/state/local safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of MTG Safety and Accident Committee.
• Provide field observations and suggestions regarding safety policies and plans.
• Assist project teams in developing Job Specific Safety Plans.
• Develop Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA’s) based on planned work.
• Provide field observations to prevent injuries and improve safety performance.
• Assist with OSHA inspections and review/subcontractor safety documents.
• Provide Safety-Training program development and scheduling.
• Maintain safety records and required certifications.
