Job summary

Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the safety program across regional job sites.

The role requires a proactive safety culture and oversight of field operations, with regular site visits and training responsibilities. The position reports to the Regional Safety Manager, supervises safety staff, and supports safety planning for high-risk activities including scaffolding, formwork, and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in large-scale projects.
• OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards knowledge.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
• Certified safety professionals (CHST/ASP/CSP or similar) a plus.
• Experience developing JHAs, SSSPs, and Fall Protection Plans.
• Valid driver’s license and regular travel to job sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• OSHA 500 Trainer experience or certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop company-wide safety policies and site-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular job site visits to ensure OSHA and company standards compliance.
• Lead safety trainings and meetings at multiple levels.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; perform root-cause analyses.
• Ensure proper PPE availability and maintenance; oversee fall protection systems.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and coordinate safety initiatives site-wide.
• Prepare pre-task documentation such as Fall Protection Plans, Demolition Plans, and Silica Exposure Control Plans.
