Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety performance across one or more sites in the United States. The role includes visiting job sites, coaching supervisors, auditing for compliance, and coordinating with project teams to ensure safe work practices.

The role requires extensive safety credentials, strong communication skills, and frequent travel. A comprehensive benefits package is provided along with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in safety and/or construction, preferably electrical construction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety rules and regulations including fall protection, confined spaces and LO/TO.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and technical assistance to operations teams and monitor safety performance.
• Advise on safe work planning and participate in safety meetings and project startups.
• Prepare and review site safety plans, risk assessments, permits, and LOTO procedures.

Skills

5-10 years experience in safety and/or

Education

Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

CHST - Construction Health and Safety Technician

OSHA Outreach Trainer (30 Hour)
