Bergelectric is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee the Safety program across multiple sites in the region. The role involves leading safety initiatives, mentoring site personnel, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.

The candidate will travel regularly to projects and offices, perform audits, and coordinate with operations, HR, and procurement to drive a culture of safe work practices. A CSP or CHST is preferred along with strong communication skills.

Formación

• Requires CSP/CHST or equivalent credentials.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safety leadership and track safety performance.
• Advise operations on safety requirements and attend safety meetings.
• Prepare and review site safety plans, risk assessments, permits, and logs.
• Conduct audits/inspections and correct hazards on site.
• Respond to incidents and maintain safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Develop safety competencies among supervisors and site staff.
• Coordinate with project teams to address safety issues.
• Maintain required certifications.
