Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee the Work Safe. Live Safe. program across multiple sites in the region. You will lead safety initiatives, plan work safely, and ensure conformance with OSHA and company protocols.

The role requires field visits, audits, incident response, and collaboration with project managers to maintain a strong safety culture. Travel to sites is frequent.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in safety/construction, electrical construction preferred.
• Certified safety credentials or equivalent required/preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fall protection, silica, confined space, and energy control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership to operations teams and monitor safety performance.
• Assist in safe planning of work and attend safety/startup meetings.
• Prepare site safety plans, risk assessments and permits.
• Conduct audits/inspections and address hazards promptly.
• Investigate incidents and manage documentation per policy.
