Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a senior safety leader to direct and evolve the Safety and Health Management System across multiple projects in New York. You will coach safety staff, oversee audits, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance while partnering with operations to reduce risk.

Responsibilities include leading trainings, coordinating with OSHA/MSHA/EPA requirements, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent, with 10+ years in construction safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Proven ability to coach safety staff and lead audits and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety and Health Program at assigned locations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coach staff, conduct audits/inspections, and document findings.
• Investigate injuries and incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop training programs and communicate safety policies to teams.
• Collaborate with operations to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement.
