Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 9+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.
• Demonstrates understanding of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Safety and Health Program at assigned location(s).
• Supervise safety staff to apply the Safety and Health Management System.
• Lead in safety audits, inspections, and safety conversations.
• Investigate injuries, illnesses, and general liability incidents; develop reduction strategies.
• Partner with operations to reduce injuries and incidents and meet business objectives.
• Coordinate safety program activities with subcontractors and vendors.
• Serve as point of contact for regulatory authorities and clients.
