Job summary

Kokosing seeks a seasoned safety and health leader to oversee the Safety and Health Management System for the Lebenon, IN project site and other locations as needed. This hands-on role blends operational leadership with strategic safety vision to protect workers and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 10+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Company Safety and Health Program at assigned location(s).
• Champion implementation of the behavioral safety program and Safety 24/7.
• Supervise safety staff; provide coaching and accountability for safety performance.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and safety conversations; address corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents; analyze data to reduce future occurrences.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Coordinate safety policy development and training with leadership.
• Serve as point of contact for regulatory authorities and client safety requirements.
