Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a senior Safety and Health leader to guide operations across locations in Ohio. You will drive the Safety and Health Management System, mentor safety staff, and partner with operations to reduce injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, data analysis, training, and policy development, with a focus on continuous improvement and a culture of safety within a high‑production construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or related field.
• 9+ years of safety and health experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Ability to coach safety staff and partner with operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Company Safety and Health Program at locations.
• Perform audits, inspections, and safety conversations; coach teams.
• Investigate injuries, analyze data, and code incidents for trends.
• Develop mitigation strategies with operations to reduce incidents.
• Coordinate safety meetings, training programs, and policy development.
• Serve as point of contact for regulatory authorities and clients.
