Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety and Health or equivalent with related training.
• 5+ years of safety/health experience in construction Industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA regulations and company safety policies.
• Strong communication, organization and field-interface skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide safety training and education to personnel.
• Support pre-job safety planning and emergency response planning.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs.
• Conduct safety audits, evaluations, inspections and observations.
• Assist in investigation of injuries and incidents.
• Disseminate safety correspondence and updates on regulatory changes.
• Identify team members needing training or support for safety requirements.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and vendors.
• Serve as contact for OSHA and other safety authorities when needed.
