The role requires coordinating with managers, supervisors and field teams to develop work safety plans, conduct training, and lead audits while maintaining open communication with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and company safety policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce injuries and incidents and meet business targets.
• Provide safety training and education to personnel.
• Lead pre-job safety planning and emergency response development.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, evaluations and corrective actions.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and document findings.
• Maintain safety correspondence and inform teams of regulatory changes.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and third parties.
• Serve as safety/OSHA liaison when the Safety Manager is unavailable.
