Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the division's safety coordinators, oversee audits and incident investigations, and ensure safe project execution. This role requires managing field safety staff and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Strong verbal and written communication, MS Office proficiency, and a background in occupational safety are essential. This position involves travel and on-site work in construction settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Occupational Safety or Health preferred.
• Recognized safety professional certifications (CSP/ASP/CHST/STS/CSHO-C).
• OSHA 500 & 501 and related competent person training.
• 5–7 years of progressive safety management experience.
• Minimum 5 years at a management level in safety and health processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage field safety staff, audits, investigations, and data collection for project operations.
• Review daily Velocity reports and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and document findings for Safety Director.
• Develop corrective action plans during site visits and support pre-construction safety planning.
