Job summary

CEC is hiring a Safety Coordinator responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting daily field walks, and coaching employees to ensure a strong safety culture on project sites.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in safety disciplines and 1-3 years of construction safety experience. Responsibilities include the submission of safety audit reports and assisting with incident investigations. This position involves extensive travel and work in various environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably electrical or mechanical.
• Experience with construction workforce desired.
• Bilingual skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field walks for safety compliance.
• Submit daily Site Safety Audit reports.
• Assist in incident investigations and root cause analyses.

Skills

Understanding of electrical industry construction standards

Proficient in Microsoft Office

CPR/FA Certified

Strong communication skills

Education

Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline

OSHA 30 Construction certification
