Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC is seeking a Senior Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs, perform daily field walks, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop corrective action plans for project sites. The role includes coaching field personnel, delivering safety training, and fostering a strong safety culture on a large site.

Responsibilities include mentoring Safety Coordinators, supporting Foremen with Job Hazard Analyses, conducting incident investigations, and participating in toolbox talks

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety preferred).
• OSHA 500 or 501 required; CHST, OHST, or CSHO preferred.
• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety.
• Understanding of NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI standards.
• CPR/FA certification.
• Bi-lingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Safety Coordinators and assist Foremen in Job Hazard Analyses.
• Lead and deliver job-site safety orientations and trainings (HazCom, Fall Protection, LOTO).
• Conduct daily field walks to evaluate safety program effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Develop project-specific corrective action plans and provide feedback to project leadership.
• Investigate incidents and assist in root-cause analysis; monitor subcontractor safety performance.
• Support weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings; coach safe behaviors across crews.
