Job summary

MP Nexlevel, LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to lead inspections, incident investigations, and safety training across construction sites. You will develop safety programs, ensure OSHA compliance, and advise management on regulatory issues while traveling nationwide.

Responsibilities include conducting field audits, managing safety paperwork, and supporting the Safety Director with workers' compensation and general liability claims.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field safety experience.
• BS degree in Safety or Health related field desired.
• CUSP safety certification a plus.
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation and General Liability claim processes.
• Able to communicate technical information to field personnel as well as executive management.
• Demonstrated ability to review contractors health and safety plans.
• Can react calmly in emergency situations and work effectively with other people.
• Must be highly motivated, a self-starter and have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work some weekends
• Must be willing to travel nationwide.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Technical efficiency & knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs and plans.
• Ensure construction personnel are trained in safety requirements and OSHA regulations.
• Advise management regarding regulatory compliance with environmental, safety & health standards.
• Conduct field audits, follow-up safety and hazard inspections of construction sites.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Assist in accident/incident investigations.
• Make recommendations for correcting unsafe conditions and provide necessary safety training.
• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed.
• Conduct inspections to ensure subcontractor safety compliance.
• Assist Safety Director in claim management (WC & GL) with appropriate insurance contacts.
