Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking a Safety Coordinator for nationwide travel to supervise safety programs on active heavy civil construction sites. You will conduct audits, train crews, and report findings to leadership while coordinating with site teams across multiple projects.

The role requires practical hazard recognition, strong communication, and the ability to travel extensively while maintaining safe work practices on diverse sites. A paid travel package and base salary are provided.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of construction safety and how to address hazards.
• Ability to conduct and document field safety audits and deliver training.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with field staff and supervisors across sites.
• Dependability with changing travel schedules and minimal supervision.
• Proficient in professional email writing and report formatting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct documented safety audits at active jobsites and prepare reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Partner with superintendents, foremen, and crews to address hazards and follow up on items.
• Deliver practical safety training for field crews, including new-hire training.
• Participate in morning jobsite meetings and communicate with safety leadership while in the field.
• Explain safety principles clearly so crews can apply them on site.
