Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Associate to provide field-based safety oversight for a megadata center project.

You will engage with field personnel and subcontractors to promote safe work practices and ensure OSHA compliance and client safety requirements. Responsibilities include conducting jobsite inspections, hazard assessments, incident reporting, and safety coaching.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of field safety experience in heavy industrial construction.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 Construction certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and safety regulations.
• Experience conducting field safety inspections and hazard identification.
• Proficient PPE knowledge and JHA/JSA development.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with site teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight and compliance engagement across active construction operations.
• Maintain a visible safety presence onsite and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor contractor activities for OSHA compliance and client requirements.
• Support safety oversight for heavy industrial construction operations.
• Conduct jobsite inspections, safety observations, and hazard assessments.
• Verify proper PPE use and adherence to safe work practices.
• Review JHAs/JSAs and safety procedures.
• Assist with incident reporting, near-miss documentation, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Provide safety coaching to field employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Communicate safety expectations with site management and field personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
