Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) leader for a large, high‑risk project in Philadelphia, PA. You will set EH&S direction, lead the site safety team, and partner with senior leadership to drive a best-in-class safety culture.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 13+ years in construction safety, CHST, OSHA 30, and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED. Travel to project sites, budget oversight, and PDCA-driven safety improvements are

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in safety-related field; 13+ years construction safety experience or equivalent.
CHST certification required or within 6 months of appointment.
OSHA 30-hour training; CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED current.
Expert knowledge of safety regulations and incident management.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities; budget oversight.

Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and enforce EH&S policies and practices on the project site.
Oversee EH&S on site, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive safety culture.
Generate in-person engagement with frontline workers and coach the EH&S team.
Establish project-specific EH&S plan with KPIs and PDCA cycles.
Recruit, onboard, and develop EH&S staff and ensure resource availability.
